Nobody really knows exactly when St. Edmund's, our parish church, was built but we are starting to celebrate its 900 year history in 2020.
For centuries St. Edmund's was at the heart of the spiritual and community life of a small agricultural community here in rural Worcestershire but, by the end of the 20th century that community had all but disappeared.
The future looked bleak.
2018. Today's disparate community is working together to ensure its iconic building remains open.
To celebrate the 900th anniversary of St Edmund’s in a building that is warm and comfortable, ready and equipped for ongoing use .
To create a future that sees St. Edmund's open, welcoming and inclusive,
for Christian worship, fellowship and learning, art & music, history & heritage.
